What is the ProjectVIEW AI roadmap? The ProjectVIEW AI roadmap has two parts. Available now, with ProjectVIEW ERP v12: AI in daily processes, the MCP connector for Claude and ChatGPT, the AI assistant and a new Production module. On the roadmap, without announced dates: purpose-specific agents per module, voice and headless field capture, forecasting and early warnings, client-specific SLMs and smart alerts. This page separates the two clearly. If it is listed under roadmap, treat it as a direction, not a delivered feature. What is available now in ProjectVIEW ERP v12? ProjectVIEW ERP v12 was released in October 2026 and is generally available to all clients. It includes: DANAOS ProjectVIEW AI in daily processes. Manage, execute and optimise processes on one unified data set. The MCP connector. Connects Claude and ChatGPT to ProjectVIEW ERP to run headless operations, ask questions of your data, create dashboards and KPIs, and build your own AI agents and assistants. See the ProjectVIEW MCP server. A new Production module for project-based manufacturing. The AI assistant. Natural-language questions on ERP data, such as “Which projects are most likely to exceed budget?” or “Show me my pending approvals.”, executive briefings, semantic search, document ingestion and contract clause extraction. See the ProjectVIEW AI assistant. What directions has DANAOS Projects stated publicly? The items below are roadmap. They are described in terms of what they are designed to do. No release dates have been announced. Direction What it is designed to do Status Purpose-specific agents per module Agents for estimating, procurement, cost control, subcontractors, contracts and claims, cash flow, machinery and production, each following Detect → Investigate → Explain → Recommend → Request Approval → Execute → Audit Roadmap Voice and headless field capture Site teams speak; AI transcribes, interprets and associates the content to BoQ, WBS and Cost Codes; ERP fields are populated subject to validation and authorisation Roadmap Forecasting and early warnings Forecast cost at completion, probability of overrun and cash flow scenarios; pick up weak signals before they become losses Roadmap Client-specific SLMs Small language models specific to a client’s data and processes Roadmap Smart alerts Notify the right person when a pattern in the data needs attention Roadmap The agent pages describe the intended scope of each agent: see ProjectVIEW AI agents. For the thinking behind voice capture, read the power of voice and headless operations. Why is the roadmap built in this order? AI will not fix broken processes. It will amplify them. So the order is data first, then intelligence. ProjectVIEW ERP structures data by BoQ, WBS and Cost Codes. v12 puts AI into daily processes on that data and opens it to assistants through MCP. Agents, forecasting and alerts come next because they depend on that structured, governed record. System of record, then system of intelligence. Forecasts and early warnings work not because AI predicts the future like magic, but because the data underneath is complete and consistent. The SLM and LLM approach follows the same logic. What stays the same as the roadmap moves? AI works within ProjectVIEW user roles and permissions. Consequential actions always need human approval. AI actions are audited. Data is not sent to public consumer AI services. Models retrieve ERP context at inference time; no retraining on client data is required. How does v12 prepare for the agents? Agents need three things: structured data, clear permissions and an approval workflow. ProjectVIEW ERP already provides all three. v12 adds the AI layer to daily processes and opens governed access through the MCP connector. That is also why clients can already build their own AI agents and assistants through the MCP connector today, on their own data and within their own permissions. The purpose-specific agents on the roadmap are the packaged, module-level versions: designed around the work of estimators, cost controllers, procurement officers, subcontractor managers and contracts managers, and following the same Detect → Investigate → Explain → Recommend → Request Approval → Execute → Audit cycle. What does the roadmap mean for each role? Role Available now (v12) Roadmap direction C-level and directors Executive briefings and plain-language questions through the assistant or Claude and ChatGPT Early warnings and smart alerts across the portfolio Cost controllers Questions on budget, committed and actual cost; KPI dashboards via MCP Cost control and forecast agent; probability of overrun Procurement officers Questions on quotations, orders and commitments Procurement agent: quotation comparison, anomaly detection, budget-rate checks Contracts and claims managers Document ingestion and contract clause extraction Claims and variations agent: unapproved variations, delayed certifications, retention exposure Site and production teams Headless operations through the MCP connector; Production module Voice and headless field capture How should you read this roadmap? Base buying decisions on what is available now. Roadmap items are directions DANAOS Projects has stated publicly. Scope and timing can change. If a roadmap item matters to your decision, raise it in your demo so we can tell you where it stands. A useful test: anything you can see working on your own data in a demo today is available. Anything described here only as a direction is not, until it appears in a release note. Frequently asked questions Is there a release date for ProjectVIEW AI agents? No release dates have been announced for the purpose-specific agents. They are a stated roadmap direction. What can we use today? With ProjectVIEW ERP v12: ProjectVIEW AI in daily processes, the MCP connector for Claude and ChatGPT, the AI assistant and the new Production module. Do we need v12 for the MCP connector? Yes. The MCP connector was released with ProjectVIEW ERP v12, which is generally available to all clients. How will roadmap features be priced? Pricing depends on the modules, the number of users and the deployment option. AI usage can be metered with DANAOS AI Credits. Can we raise requirements for the roadmap? Yes. Tell us in your demo or through your DANAOS Projects contact which use cases matter most to you. We cannot commit to dates on this page. Want to see what is available today?
