ProjectVIEW ERP v12 has officially launched and is now available to all DANAOS Projects clients. Version 12 builds ProjectVIEW AI into the way users manage, execute and optimise their processes, adds a new Production module for end-to-end project-based manufacturing, and introduces an MCP connector so that AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT can work directly with ProjectVIEW.

In v12, ProjectVIEW AI is integrated into users’ management processes, their execution and their optimisation. It works on homogenised, unified data: the operational data captured from all projects, together with the company’s internal data. Every answer and suggestion therefore comes from the same single source that the ERP itself uses.

What does the new Production module cover?

ProjectVIEW v12 adds a new Production module that covers project-based manufacturing end to end. Manufacturers that build to project, order or contract can now run production in the same system as their estimating, budgeting, procurement and cost control. What can users do with the MCP connector?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard for connecting AI assistants to business systems. With the new ProjectVIEW MCP connector, users can connect Claude or ChatGPT to ProjectVIEW and:

2. ask questions of their own data in plain language;
3. create the dashboards and KPIs they need;
4. build their own AI agents and assistants for further automation.
