Saudi Constructioneers Ltd (Saudico) was founded in Riyadh in 1972. Since then, it has gradually increased its capabilities and expertise undertaking large scale projects simultaneously among which: Riyadh Investment Company, GOSI, Aramco, TAIBA etc. with a value of over SAR1 billion.

Challenge: The requirements of the new Projects along with the expansion, in terms of operations, into complex and diversified construction domains with several Subcontractors require the need of a system to manage and monitor from Tendering to Cost Control and Financials (end-to-end) all processes and aligning the works onsite(s) and in the office(s), preserving profit margins and generating new sales opportunities. 

Solution: Upon inadequate performance of the inhouse MS Dynamics and upon examining different technology options, including Oracle ERP system, Saudico decided to take on board DANAOS ProjectVIEW ERP, as it was the only system with a Construction Management mindset, fully supported by engineering professionals and trusted by the largest company in the world: VINCI, awarded the title of the  Best Cost Control System, globally.

Saudico is LIVE for the last 4 months and all users onsite(s) and in the offices are utilizing DANAOS ProjectVIEW ERP Modules, based on their role into the company. More that 100 users are currently using the system, on a multitenant multi project, multicompany basis. All site operations such as materials movement, labor timekeeping, machinery allocation and progress of works (including subcontractors) are digitally recorded by site engineers using their tablets and are synced to the main backoffice modules of the Procurement, HR, Finance and Admin departments providing knowledge onsite by comparing Actual vs Budgeted Cost.
