DANAOS SOFTWARE COMMERCIAL POLICY
A. Cost Of Ownership
The Total Cost of Ownership (TOC) for each Client that purchases DANAOS Software such as:
ProjectVIEW ERP or
DANAOS VORTEX is consisted from 2 main elements:
1. Software Licenses
Software Licenses are based on the Commercial Model: either Perpetual or Subscription.
For either commercial model, DANAOS Software metrics are based on the
Users licensing model per each module (office – site) with unlimited intra-Companies, Sites and unlimited Projects. Users per Module are
Concurrent users (a floating license, no-named users).
Based on the requirements of the Client we can also provide unlimited users.
2. Implementation Services
Setup, Configuration, Data Migration, Customization, Training, GO LIVE, Support.
B. Commercial Models
Reference to the Software Licenses, DANAOS has 2 Commercial Models:
1. Perpetual: Should the Client decides to buy the software licenses under this model, then becomes the owner of the software, meaning that he/she can use a specific version of the software program continually with payment of
an one off single fee.
For Annual Support, Updates under a Service Level Agreement the Client pays annually (in the beginning of the Annual Maintenance Period) 20% of the Software Licenses
2. Subscription: With the Subscription license, the Client leases the software and that automatically includes software updates and technical support. There’s no maintenance plan required. The Subscription period is Annual (commitment) and is billed every 6 months.
C. Installation Options
DANAOS Software can be installed either On Client’s Premise or On Cloud.
– If installed on Client’s Premise the Cost of the Commercial of the Shelf Software aka COTS (eg. windows operating system, database, backup etc.) and the hardware (eg. servers, storage etc) are sole obligation of the Client and are paid by the Client directly.
– If installed on DANAOS Cloud (MS Azure), Cost of Ownership will include an extra cost for the Cloud Hosting based on the following parameters (metrics): Processing, Storage, Response Time, Backup. Cost for cloud hosting is based on number of concurrent users per module.
